Kelce Brothers Strike $100 Million Deal With Amazon’s Wondery for “New Heights” Podcast

NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce have signed a monumental deal with Amazon’s Wondery for their popular podcast, “New Heights.” The three-year agreement, valued at over $100 million, grants Wondery exclusive rights to ad-sales, distribution, and the creation of international adaptations for the podcast, which has garnered a massive following since its launch in 2022.

Starting August 28, Wondery will have global distribution rights for all audio and video episodes of “New Heights,” including the entire back catalog. The deal also covers ad-free listening for Wondery+ subscribers, livestreams, and the rights to develop and distribute all merchandise based on the podcast. The podcast, known for its engaging mix of NFL insights, personal stories, and celebrity guest interviews, continues to dominate the Apple Podcast and Spotify charts and was named Podcast of the Year at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards.

The Kelce brothers, both Super Bowl champions, expressed their excitement about the partnership, noting Wondery’s shared vision and resources will help them reach “new heights.” The deal reflects a growing trend of major media companies investing heavily in podcasting, similar to Wondery’s recent $80 million agreement with comedian Dax Shepard and Spotify’s $250 million deal with Joe Rogan.

Wondery CEO Jen Sargent praised the podcast’s cultural impact, highlighting its ability to resonate beyond just sports fans. The deal further expands Wondery’s diverse portfolio, which includes popular shows across various genres such as true crime, comedy, and sports.

Travis Kelce, also known for his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, is set to host a new Amazon Prime Video show, “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” Meanwhile, Jason Kelce, who recently retired from the NFL, has joined ESPN as a commentator for “Monday Night Countdown.”

With this new partnership, the Kelce brothers are poised to continue their dominance both on and off the field, expanding their reach and influence through engaging content and strategic media deals.
