Kylie Kelce Praises Young Fan’s “Travis 87” Jersey at Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament

Kylie Kelce spent the day supporting her husband, Travis Kelce, at the American Century Championship golf tournament, where she also delighted fans with her cheerful interactions. A video captured Kylie warmly praising a young fan’s ‘Travis 87’ jersey while taking photos with them. The heartwarming moment occurred amidst her husband’s on-course antics, which included a few humorous mishaps.

During the event, Kylie was approached by a trio of young girls, two wearing sweatshirts that read ‘Go Taylor’s Boyfriend’ and one proudly sporting a Kelce jersey. Kylie complimented the jersey and engaged in a friendly conversation with the girls. The mother of the kids shared that they played field hockey, a sport Kylie herself played in college. After giving the girls some advice about the sport, Kylie continued to take pictures with several more groups of fans.

Travis Kelce, meanwhile, experienced a few notable on-course mishaps during the amateur round. At one point, he hit a drive that struck a woman in the crowd, leaving her in need of medical attention. According to witnesses, the woman had streaks of blood in her blonde hair after being hit on the back of her head. Travis quickly went to check on her and later joked about taking a picture with her as a small gesture of apology.

Paramedics treated the woman on the scene, and she was able to stand on her own after several minutes. She was transported off the course, and play resumed shortly after. Despite the incident, the tournament staff and spokespeople did not immediately respond to requests for further information.

Travis finished his first round tied with legendary pitcher Roger Clemens and SNL alum Colin Jost in 62nd place, a significant change from his 2023 victory. Interestingly, Travis had recently given his brother, Jason Kelce, some humorous advice on their podcast, New Heights. “My advice would be don’t feel bad if you hit somebody because they bought the ticket,” Travis joked. “People have been hit before. They got EMTs, whatever it’s called, they got right there at every hole. Everybody will be fine.”

True to his words, Travis’s shot also hit a man in the arm on the first hole. A video posted on X showed Travis walking down the course with a sheriff, locating the fan, shaking his hand, and even leaning in to kiss his arm. The apologetic gesture was met with laughs and cheers from the crowd, highlighting the lighthearted and community-driven spirit of the event.
